Early morning, enjoy a two and half hour scenic drive from Danang to the former Royal city Hue, passing over the Hai Van Pass – ‘Pass of the Ocean Clouds’ - where a spectacular panoramic view of the central coastline can be had from the summit. Upon arrival in Hue, visit to the elaborate Tu Duc Royal Tomb which was designed to blend with the natural setting of the landscape. There are pavilions in a tranquil setting of forested hills and lakes. Lunch is at the restored Royal home with Royal cuisine. After lunch, drive along the banks of the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Hue’s most preserved religious monument standing on the riverbank with its seven-storey tower. Complete the trip with a walk through the Imperial Citadel built in the early 19th century and then, we drive back to Danang for the night. End of service
